So many pipes, so many materials

pipes

Copper Pipes

Copper pipe is most often used for supply of hot and cold tap water, and as refrigerant line in HVAC systems. There are two basic types of copper pipes, soft copper and rigid copper. Copper pipes are joined using flare connection, compression connection, or solder.

PEX Piping

Almost all PEX used for pipe and tubing is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). PEX contains cross-linked bonds in the polymer structure, changing the thermoplastic to a thermoset. Cross-linking is accomplished during or after the extrusion of the tubing.

PVC Pipe

It’s the white plastic pipe commonly used for plumbing and drainage. PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride, and it’s become a common replacement for metal pipes. PVC’s strength, durability, easy installation, and low cost have made it one of the most widely used plastics in the world.

Earthenware Pipe

Clay or earthenware drain pipes: They usually have a typical 100mm diameter clay sewer pipe 1200mm in length and weights approximately 30kg.

HDPE Pipe

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyethylene high-density (PEHD) is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum. … With a high strength-to-density ratio, HDPE is used in the production of plastic bottles, corrosion-resistant piping, geomembranes, and plastic lumber.
